Meaning:

  • Somebody who proudly comments on every subject and imagines that he or she is expert in all fields.

Examples:

  1. She is unjustifiably arrogant and talks about every subject that is brought up everywhere. She is a real know-it-all.
  2. I appreciate your input, but don’t act like a know-it-all; we’re brainstorming together.
  3. His know-it-all attitude made the group project a challenge.
