  • A passage that an actor or actress memorizes from a script to play that on the scene, in the movie or series.

Examples:

  1. The historical genre of theater has tough line for performer and it’s so difficult to be memorized by them.
  2. Dialogue Line:
    “I will not let you ruin my life!”
    This line expresses a strong emotional response and reveals the character’s defiance or determination.
  3. Action Line:
    “She picks up the phone, hesitates, then dials.”
    In this case, the action line is providing visual details of what’s happening in the scene.
